Dandi Gu is a visual artist and ceramicist based in Los Angeles. She graduated from the China Academy of Art (CAA) and Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Her work spans painting, ceramics, and participatory art projects, using a playful yet surreal visual language to capture the fluidity and emotional tension of urban life.

Her works have been exhibited in Shanghai, Beijing, and New York, and she has collaborated with brands such as MINI, COACH, and JASON WU across fashion, music, and interdisciplinary art. In 2019, she launched the “10K+ Portrait Project”, an ongoing participatory art initiative that connects people through live portrait drawing, exhibitions, and interactive experiences. Traveling through cities like New York, Shanghai, and Chengdu, this project transforms portrait drawing into a medium of dialogue and collective storytelling. Most recently, she founded Flow Form Ceramics, blending painting with ceramics to transform each piece into a tangible expression of emotion.
