Live Graffiti Event : Nocturnal Photosynthesis

At the TiaoHai Bar, TH and Dandi collaborated on a unique live portrait relay event, asking participants:
“How do you interpret ‘nocturnal photosynthesis’? How do you absorb energy at night?” One response stood out: “The light of nocturnal photosynthesis comes from interesting friends coming together!”
Under the influence of alcohol, participants’ appearances and their responses intertwined, forming a vivid and expressive scroll. With her brush, Dandi captured their fleeting moments, preserving the night’s energy and human connections on canvas. This was more than just a painting relay—it was an exploration of the night, energy, and the bonds between people.

Stranger Party: A Portrait Exchange Workshop

Stranger Party is a social experiment centered around portrait drawing. Through the act of sketching one another, strangers connect, break barriers, and capture shared moments through lines and strokes.
This event is a collaboration between Paddy Post and artist Dandi Gu. Inspired by the Painter & Muse series, Paddy Post incorporates fundamental painting elements—dots, lines, and shapes—to encourage creative expression and human connection. Meanwhile, Dandi Gu’s “10k+ Portraits Project” invites participants to engage in portrait exchanges, turning fleeting encounters into artistic dialogue. Together, this event transforms drawing into a shared language of interaction and self-expression.

Glue Glue Myself: Tape Art Workshop

Tape and marker pens share a similar artistic language—both can be used to create dynamic lines of varying lengths and thicknesses to outline a unique self-portrait. The “Glue Glue Myself” workshop provides participants with a materials kit, including tapes of different widths, cardstock, scissors, and more. Through cutting and layering tape, participants will create expressive tape self-portraits, gradually developing an understanding of color contrast and abstraction through hands-on practice.
